Efi Lampropoulou

Efi Lampropoulou is Professor of Criminology at the Department of Sociology, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She graduated from the Law Department of the Law School of the University of Athens. Postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bielefeld/Germany in Sociology and Psychology of Punishment, PhD in Criminology/Policy and Penitentiary Policy at the University of Freiburg i.Br./Germany. Collaboration with the Max-Planck Institute's criminology group on foreign and international criminal law and visiting researcher at the Institute. Visiting research fellow at the University of Cambridge/MB.

Member of scientific (European, international and Greek) societies in the field. Member of European and international collaborations and research. Participation in many conferences, publications of books and articles. Member of legislative and other committees of the Ministry of Justice, Citizen Protection and Education. Reviewer in foreign language journals and publishing houses, member of scientific or editorial committees in Greek journals.
