The main purpose of the articles hosted by INERP is to inform, to highlight problems and/or good practices, to raise awareness and thought in the reader and to encourage dialogue.
In an opinion article, the author, based on a news story, a recent issue or event, develops his/her thinking, mainly through comments, logical conclusions, analysis, etc. Opinion articles also include the ephemera, in which the author, on the basis of a topical issue, makes observations and thoughts that are, however, of a timeless nature and of general interest.
Basic Principles of Writing
In order to be accepted for publication on the INERP website, an article must meet, as a minimum, the following basic principles and specifications:
- The topic must be well-timed and relevant to INERP's research interests, i.e. it must be related to the state, public policies, public administration, administrative science, etc.
- The topic should be approached critically, but as well-founded as possible, including an interpretation and, where appropriate, its multidimensional perspective
- The inclusion of sentences is desirable and considered an advantage
- The language of the text should be characterized by clarity and simplicity
- The language should be used in an anaphoric manner (literally, logic, information)
- Special attention should be paid to the correct use of the Greek language
- The style should be serious, formal and formal
- The text should have a clear structure and flow
- The title should be short and attractive
- The article should be between 400-600 words
